Kaboose Mentoring

Mentoring is a type of learning program, where the mentor acts as a guide or support to an individual or group of individuals.

Mentoring helps provide a focus on growth goals, or to help navigate a certain situation. At Kaboose, we typically use mentoring to build individual skills and confidence for specific situations. This might include relationship and social skills, or support in navigating the world of work.

Benefits of Mentoring

Social and Communication Skills

We provide a safe space to practice social interaction and communication, provide guidance on social cues, conversation skills, and how to navigate social situations.

Building Confidence and
Self-Esteem

We mentor from a position of strength and support mentees to recognise their abilities, talents and accomplishments to improve social, self-advocacy and workplace belonging.

Self-Advocacy and
Empowerment

Mentors can provide guidance on managing daily tasks, problem-solving, decision-making, and promoting self-reliance, enabling the mentee to gain greater independence.

Transition
Support

Mentoring can provide valuable support during transition stages, whether it's changing jobs, or moving to a new location. We help you navigate these important stages.

Emotional Support
Coping Strategies

Mentors can offer strategies for managing stress, coping with sensory sensitivities, and developing self-regulation techniques, enhancing individuals' emotional well-being and resilience.
